She PASSED!!! Janika's Driver's License

Janika is now an official licensed driver!  Yeah!!  Now we just need to wait for the "real" license to come in the mail! 

Happy Birthday Jaiden!!

Jaiden turned EIGHT today!!  We had a pool party for her this afternoon.  She invited her best friend, Emily, and some other friends from school and dance.  All of the girls were very good and everyone had a great time!

Mother's Day Tea 2012

We had a late Mother's Day Tea since we had sick kids on Mother's Day...Rick is the Luau Host (playing a nose flute), Wendy is Rosita, Janika is a Hawaiian Girl, Jase is Lover Boy, Jared is Electro-Boy, Janelle is Shanelle (fortune teller), Jaiden is a Cheerleader, Josh is a "Dude," and Jenna is a Gypsy...? Jaiden Baptism Photo Shoot

I mentioned to Janika that I wanted to take some pictures of her in her baptism dress so that I could get a picture for her baptismal program.  Janika mentioned it to her friend Kiara, who excitedly volunteered to take the pictures.  The next day they were curling Jaiden's hair and taking her out for a photo shoot (along with two cute guys for moral support).   The boys drove them around and the girls had Jaiden sitting on top of one of the guy's back in the grassy field so as not to get her dress wet or dirty.  Chivalry lives on!  Unfortunately those pictures were taken in the middle of the day in the bright sunlight and so she had shadows on her face.  But they were able to get some cute ones in some shadier areas.  Maybe we can go back to the field when the lighting is better because I just love the contrast of her white dress against the green background.  Jaiden is so pretty and photogenic.  Thanks Kiara and Janika (and Eric and Max)!  The pictures are darling and Jaiden is SO excited to be baptized soon!

First Day of Summer!

Williams invited us to the Splash Pad in Ivins.  It was the perfect way to start off our summer!  Josh invited his friend, Kyson Goates, to come along too.

Josh was worried about making it back from the Father and Son's Outing in time for Josh Burmingham's birthday party at McDonalds but he made it back just in time for me to bring him after a quick bath.  He had fun!

Father and Sons Outing

Rick and the boys went on the Father and Son's Outing tonight.   It looks like a fun place!  The boys said they had a good time but said it was really cold during the night.  Jared brought Jase's camera and took a few pictures.
