7th Grade Talent Show

Jenna and Grace sang a duet at their 7th Grade Talent Show! I am so glad that they decided to do it. They did a great job! They sang "She'll Love You." I will have to post a video later. They also sang with their Honor's Choir. It was fun to watch! I brought them to Dutchmans for a treat after!

Jaiden Jensen's "Corona Talent" Video

I happened to open up a message from Janika that Collin Kartchner (popular youth speaker on the dangers of Social Media) was having a "Quarantine Kids Got Talent" contest and Janika suggested the kids join in! She sent the message a few days ago, but I missed it somehow and just saw it on Friday afternoon and the cut off to send in a video was Saturday at noon -- which didn't leave much time! Jaiden said that she wanted to do it and so she chose a song and recorded herself singing it in the studio, along with a couple of video clips of her singing it. Then she had me video her doing some improve dance moves the the song and then edited it to a clip under 60 seconds. It was pretty stressful due to technology glitches, but in the end it turned out nice! She sure is a talented girl! Click the link below to see her video!!

Jaiden's Corona Talent Video

I told Josh he should enter in the ping pong trick shots he has been working on. So at 11:45 on Saturday he and Jaiden were hurriedly putting together some of his clips and adding music and sending it to Collin Kartcher on Instagram. They were stressing out because it wasn't uploading to my phone, but finally at 11:59 a.m. it uploaded and sent! Whew! Just in time! I wanted to include his video here also but he said it isn't finished yet and he doesn't want me to show anyone his masterpiece (my words, not his) until it is finished!!  So stay tuned!!

Janelle and Jenna could have totally entered a video too -- Jenna's clay creations, a song, one of their paintings...  I have been going through the videos entered and there are hundreds of them!! I don't know how he will choose winners -- they are so many that are amazing!!

Janelle and Jaiden's Talent Show

This year Arrowhead Elementary School had a talent show for each class.  Then the class voted and three winners were chosen to go on and perform for the grade level talent show.  Jaiden and Janelle were both chosen from their class to perform for the fourth and fifth grade talent shows.   They did such a GREAT job!  I was so proud of them!  Janelle sang, "For the First Time in Forever" from Frozen and Jaiden sang "Pulled," from The Addams Family.  The were both confident and animated and cute actions to go along with their songs.  Great job, girls!!  (I didn't get pictures at the school because I was video-taping their songs, but I took a couple after we got back home.)
