Jenna's Kindergarten Graduation

Janika and I went and watched Jenna's Kindergarten Program and Graduation today.  We went early in order to get front row seats.  Jenna was a little "over-exuberant."  She was pretty much putting on her own show, ha ha!  I had to motion for her to stop blowing kisses to the audience!  I took lots of pictures but later realized that my camera was on the wrong setting and so they were all blurry!  I was sad!  Luckily a couple still turned out okay and I was able to get a couple of pictures from a friend.  I also took my camera to Jenna's Assessment in order to get a picture with her and her teachers since today's didn't work out. 

Graduation From Kindergarten

Josh had his kindergarten graduation today.  It was so cute!  I can't believe my little boy will be in school ALL DAY LONG next year.  WOW!  He has grown leaps and bounds this year.  He really is a great kid and I am so proud of him!

Jaiden's Kindergarten Program

Jaiden was SO excited for her kindergarten program today!  She kept reminding me over and over again that I needed to come.  I assured her that I wouldn't miss it!   She showed me the actions and was so happy that Janika had taught her the Macarena dance moves a couple of months back because they were the same moves used in their song, "Months of the Year."  She was excited to show us that she could snap her fingers and couldn't wait for her big line, "J is for jumping!" (and then she got to jump up and down).  When it was time to do her part she mouthed to me and pointed to the camera, "Videotape me!" (4:07)

The funniest part was at the end when her teacher was getting ready to pass out the diplomas.  Jaiden got down on the floor and did the splits!  "Ummm.....sweetie?  I am not sure that is part of the program."  Rick got the whole thing on video and I was laughing so hard, tears were rolling down my face! Ridiculous!

Jaiden got graduation pictures taken in her kindergarten class. She said, "They gave us the clothes with the little jacket and the hat with the string." I said, "Did you look cute?"  She emphatically responded, "No -- I looked ridiculous!"

Today Jaiden was being her usual loud self.   I whispered to her, "You are inside.  Please use your indoor voice."  She said, "I don't have one!"  (I've noticed!)
