New Year's Eve!!

For New Year's Eve this year we invited over the Williams, the Ence's and the Potters! The kids all played in the basement while the adults visited around the table. We fixed our traditional cocktail sausages and chips and dip. The guests all brought treats to share as well. We had our traditional dance party in the basement! Jaiden did a great dance number that she choreographed and Jenna put together a dance number with Anna to "Show Yourself" from Frozen 2. It was a fun night! Jaiden left early with Emily and Lizzie to go to the Stake dance.

We realized that we had our original "dream team" primary presidency at the party and so we had to get a picture to "look back!"

Family Time!

The cousins all got to play together while the adults went out to dinner! 

Christmas!!

We went to Grandma Jensens for Christmas Eve. They had a lovely meal and then Julie taught a nice Christmas lesson. The kids played some games and then Santa came!

Our Early Christmas!!

We put out the presents and stockings. Everyone actually slept in! I don't think we went down to open gifts until 8:30 or so!! It seemed like a small Christmas this year, but we actually got a lot of big family gifts this year -- including a big screen TV for our basement! We also got new granite counter-tops throughout the whole house and new paint for the whole house! 

Christmas in Idaho

Janika and Brandon: This year we spent Christmas at Brandon's family cabin in Island Park, Idaho. It's a cute little log cabin in the woods that you have to snowmobile into because the roads are not plowed leading up to the cabin. We spent our time snowmobiling, snuggling by the fire, playing games, and just relaxing with family! We did have some mechanical issues with some of the snowmobiles, which was difficult to work with, but we still had fun! 10/10 would recommend.
