Christmas -- SNOW!!

It was snowing on Christmas and the kids wanted to play in it.  It was FREEZING but they still went tubing at Shenandoah Commons area in my parent's neighborhood and had a ball!!  Jenna had a cold and wasn't feeling and so she was already back in the house before I had a chance to take a picture.  But she went out with the kids the next day for a bit and had fun!

Saturday was sunny and the kids went tubing again. This time Jenna joined them!!  It was still too cold for me though!

Early Christmas Eve

We had a nice Christmas Eve.  We had a delicious meal of ham (which tasted extra yummy), cheesy potatoes, pretzel jello, and vegies.  Jaiden had helped me with the cooking.  Rick had he and I dress up as angels to deliver our messages of the Savior.  We opened the package from Janika and everyone was really excited about the Nebraska T-shirts! The kids all opened up their gifts to each other. They had drawn names and the gift was supposed to be something that they had made.  Jase made a pumpkin shake at work and brought it to Jaiden.  Jared had Jenna's name and made a really neat pioneer-style kendama made with a stick and tuna fish cans. Janelle had Jase's name and made-up a recipe of white chocolates with coconut, white chocolate, and candy cane sprinkles. Jaiden had Josh and designed a T-shirt with fabric markers that said "JJJ Rules" with the Superman insignia with a big "J" inside.  Josh had Jared and carved a lightning bolt into a fan blade and a kendama toy.  Jenna had Janelle and had made a tic-tac-toe out of a wood kit from Home Depot and painted it.  I will have to post pictures of all of these later!
