New Year's Eve Party!

Since New Year's Eve falls on a Sunday we decided to have our New Year's Eve party on Saturday. We are glad that Shane and Alicia and their kids could join us! We also had several neighbor kids over. We had a dance competition and I was impressed at how well the kids did on their dances! Jaiden and Adria put together a big group number that they all choreographed. It was great! Jenna, Clarissa, and Rella performed the version of "The 12 Pains of Christmas" that they learned at school. Jenna had even made cute props and pictures for it. We all got a kick out of Treyson's (age 3) cute little dance which included somersaults and miming guitar playing. Janelle, Ruby, and Layla left right after the "dance competition" to go to their Stake dance. We had lots of snacks and Rick made a delicious drink to bring in the new year! 

Christmas Day!

Check out the beautiful gifts that Grandma Jensen made for the kids' hope chests! It was fun to spend the day just visiting and snacking. The kids had a great time playing in the snow! We also got to skype Jase! It was so fun seeing and talking with him!

Christmas Eve!!

We went to church, which was a combined sacrament meeting of two wards. They had a great choir and orchestra! We were clear at the back though with a lot more distractions! We took a big family photo! I've included the photo and a couple of photos from Grayson's cell phone as well. We had our traditional Christmas Eve meal of soups (Taco soup, Chicken Noodle Soup, and Lasagna Soup) and bread sticks and gluten free Brazilian cheese rolls, chips and crackers and a cheese ball and lots of snacks! The kids played their traditional candy bar game and we watched the annual slide show.
