Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving!  Shane (my younger brother) and his wife Alicia (my sister-in-law) came down Wednesday evening with their adorable girls and stayed through Sunday morning.  The cousins played non-stop and had a blast!   Our friends, the Healeys, also stayed overnight on Wednesday on their way to Vegas. 

Thursday we had a delicious Thanksgiving feast and then played around.  Shane and Alicia made these awesome pies -- two of them with gluten free crust!  Yeah!!  They were SO good!  They brought a fun game down called "Ticket to Ride" and Jase was totally addicted.  He LOVES games -- especially strategic ones and was bugging them to play it with him about every five minutes.  Janelle really got into the game playing too.  The younger kids enjoyed more simple games such as "Apples to Apples Jr."  They also had fun watching movies on the big screen (wall)  in the basement.

The kids eight and younger all slept in the basement on air mattresses and sleeping bags.  The girls made a "girl's club" and made a sign and even made up a song about it.  Jaiden sung it to me -- it was actually quite catchy.  You may find it on the top ten one of these days.  Alicia also did a photo shoot of our family while she was here (can't wait to see the pictures!)  The weekend went way too fast.  Thanks for coming, Shane and Alicia!
