Tuacahn: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Tonight Rick and I brought Josh and Jenna to see Joseph at Tuacahn. It was really good! Since Josh works in concessions he was able to get us some free treats, ha ha! I wish we could have seen it with David Archuletta as Joseph, but we just had comp tickets and they were not giving any out for the Archuletta nights! 

Weekend Fun!

Janika and Brandon had come down for the weekend since I had gotten them tickets to see Joseph at Tuacahn, but then Janika started feeling sick from dinner and so Jaiden and Jenna ended up going at the last minute instead. Jenna had already see it, but Jaiden hadn't seen it yet, and so it worked out. I felt bad that Janika and Brandon missed it though. The seats were on the third row! 

Sunday Maddox was over and they took these cute pictures with Baby Everett! 

 

Josh Homecoming

Josh went to the Snow Canyon Homecoming dance tonight with friends. He said that it was WAY too expensive and definitely not worth it, ha ha! Josh and Zach had a soccer game in Cedar City that morning and so they weren't able to do their "day" date until 2:00. They went to an axe throwing place, and then went to Walmart where they each purchased a gift for a gift exchange. They dropped the girls off to get ready and were supposed to meet me at the Opera House so that I could take their pictures. But the girls took a while to get ready and so they were 45 minutes late to pictures and then we were really rushed since they had a dinner reservation to get to at Cafe Sabor. They went to dinner and then the dance and then they went to Kadan's house for ice-cream.

Jenna and Friends: SCHS Homecoming Football Game!

Jenna and her friends headed out to the Powder Puff game (even though Jenna was sick and missed school today. She apparently had a miraculous recovery.) Normally I wouldn't allow her to go out, but she did feel better throughout the day and still went to her play rehearsal. Then it was off to the game!!

Then a couple of days later was the Snow Canyon High School Homecoming game. Jaiden even came home for it! (Last year she was voted Homecoming Queen at this event!) She doesn't have a car at SUU, but Janika and Brandon decided to come to St. George for the weekend and so they picked her up on the way. They got out the door much later than expected, so I was worried that she might miss the game, but she barely made it in time for the halftime events. Snow Canyon won the game -- by a lot! Jenna and all her friends went. She came home totally hoarse from screaming. We thought it was just from the game, but whatever cold she had on Wednesday decided to take a turn for the worse and she ended up sick a day or so later and lost her voice for several days!

Baby Everett

Janika and Brandon came to visit over Labor Day weekend. I didn't think to take any pictures of the visit, but then later on found all of these (and loads more) in my camera roll! The kids loved playing with baby Everett! And no wonder -- he is so dang cute!!

Conquering the Freezer!

The ice in our basement freezer had gotten so out of control that we could barely fit things in on some of the shelves. So today Jenna and I defrosted it! It was a HUGE job and took four hours! But we were pretty proud of ourselves when it was all finished!
