Laser Mania!

Mitch Seely offered all of our kids a complimentary night at Laser Mania.  The kids were ecstatic!  It worked out perfectly since it was a slow night and we were the only people there.  The kids got to do all of the attractions -- Laser Tag, the 4D movie, the bumper cars, and even tokens for Arcade Games.  Thanks, Mitch!

Happy Birthday, Jenna!

Friday, Oct. 3:  Jenna turned six today!  I had an early interpreting appointment and then hurried home to make  Jenna’s birthday cake and clean the house and go pick up pizza for the party.  Papa Murphy’s has gluten free pizza now, yeah!  I got some and liked it! 

 I had Jenna’s party from noon to 2:30.  I had her keep it really small this year – just a few girls – and it was really simple and easy.  Jenna got some nail polish and play make-up for her birthday and so when Jaiden got home from school she painted the girls' nails and did make-overs on them.

After the party I went to scouts and Rick brought Josh to his friend's birthday party.  Jenna’s opened her presents from us tonight – a new bike since she has outgrown her little starter bike, and an Orbee amusement park and some clothes and gluten free snacks. 

Tonight I dropped Janelle off to her play and then Rick went a little later to help with costume changes back stage.  Today the "A Cast" was performing but Janelle was filling in for Ava who was out of town with her family.   

Jase Homecoming

Swiss Days 5K

All of our men ran the Swiss Days 5K this morning and finished before it started pouring!  Jase did well, missing his personal best by only 8 seconds.  He got 20.33.  Jared got 20.27.  His personal best was at his last meet with a time of 19.57.  Jared was hoping to place in his age group and he did.  He got third place and the award was a cow bell!   Rick ran with Josh and then Josh sprinted at the end and beat his dad.  This was Josh's first 5K and he did great!  Josh got 33.53 and 6th in his age group of boys ages 8-9.  Rick got 34.01.  I am proud of all of my men! 

 

 

Seminary Faculty Party!

The kids had a blast swimming at this Seminary Faculty Party and Jase and Jared were both so cute to watch over Jenna in the pool.  We adults enjoyed good food and company.  We should do these more often!
