July Hail!!

This evening we had a sudden rainstorm that even brought hail for several minutes.  Hail -- in July -- in St. Geroge.  Now that is WEIRD!!  The kids threw on their swimming suits and ran around outside.  Janelle and Jaiden were on their way to San Diego with Aunt Gerilyn so they missed the storm.  Look at our neighbor's big tree -- the storm pulled it right out!  Bummer!  We also had a huge branch of peaches from our peach tree break off.  A few days later we finally got around to pulling off all of the fruit from it to see if they could  finish the ripening process inside.  Later on the news reported that we had 1.5 inches of rain in 45 minutes.  Apparently there was a ton of flooding going on throughout the city from the rain.
