Jim Cook

Jim Cook passed away Thursday night after struggling with cancer for the past year. His daughter, Katie, is one of my sweet little primary students. Jim's blog, "My Cancer Story," is on my side bar if you get a chance to look through it. It is amazing to read his story and to see Jim's acceptance and faith throughout this trial.

I am so grateful for the chance we got to know Jim and his family this past year. They are an awesome family and have had a profound influence on our lives. He will be greatly missed. On the other hand, how wonderful it must be for him to finally be free of the disease that took his life. I am sure he will do an incredible work on the other side. Here is a link to his obituary for more information: Jim Cook.

The Cook family will be moving soon. We will miss them. I will miss seeing Katie's bright smiling face in primary. The lessons we have learned from their family will stay in our hearts forever!
