Church History Tour (Janika)

Wow! This Church History trip has been so much fun for me! I have learned a TON! And I am basically a pro at church history now. (: We started out driving to Ogden to pick up my aunt Gerilyn and my Grandma. The next day, at four AM, we drove to Salt Lake city and flew to Denver. And may I say, they have THE COOLEST AIRPORT EVER! It's basically bigger than our airport and mall put together.  So cool.  Anyway... after that, we flew to Cleveland Ohio.  And from there, we flew to Palmyra, New York.

That night we went to the Hill Cumorah Pageant. It was really good! There were a lot of protesters around, but they weren't allowed to come inside. In all, we went through eight different states, (not counting Utah) and learned SO MUCH!  It was also my first time flying.  That was interesting.  Haha!  We went to the Nauvoo Pageant also which was really good too!  I'm so grateful I could go on this trip!  It was so green out here and so pretty!  My favorite things were the Maid of the Mist tour in Niagra, Liberty Jail, and going to different religions and learning about what they believe, then coming back to our visitors center and feeling that familiar sense of peace and safety. (:

this is the Community of Christ temple. It reminded me more of a mall than a temple...
