Deaf Branch Youth Conference

(Posted by Janika):

Youth Conference was so much fun! We all made lots of new friends and got closer to old ones. The food was great, and the games were so fun! We went up to Pine Valley and stayed at Brother and Sister Cherry's cabin. It was a really nice place and we all really enjoyed it. We went hiking, roasted marshmallows, and played tons of awesome games! It is really beautiful up there. I'm very excited for Youth Conference next year and I can't wait to see where we end up going!

I love all of your pictures! Especially the ones with your kids in the helmets and the hail storm.

So I have another random item to share-I ran into Hillary Sargent in Kanab today. She is a cheerleader at Kanab High school and works at the local grocery store (where I ran into her) Anyway, I'm sure you know most of this... I learned she was baptized a few weeks ago... and Carrie Cornell is her interpreter. Anyway, I called Carrie and I am very excited to do some interpreting again. She is taking the new member discussions and I told Carrie I'd help interpret for Hillary at church. Hopefully I can get signed up to substitute interpret for her at Kanab High School when she needs it. We will be in Fredonia until Ben starts his residency, next June/July so it works out perfect. I told Carrie I need to work on my skills in a bad way :) Just another bit of random info. :)
