Cove Fort

After we took down camp we headed to Cove Fort (between Beaver and Fillmore).  Since our theme was "Fortifying the Family" and we did a lot of comparisons with "forts" Rick thought it would be a good idea to tour this fortress.  The kids got a chance to run around the park area before our tour and Janika did a photo shoot of Jenna with her camera:

I was a little embarrassed because we all looked so unkempt and reeked of campfire smoke.  Here those missionaries looked so nice and we come walking in with messy hair, smudged faces, and dirty clothes.  I explained to the sweet missionary lady that we came directly from camping and that is why we looked the way we did.  We watched a movie about Cove Fort and then took a tour of the fort.  It was interesting and the kids all seemed to enjoy it.
